James Reid Surprises Newlyweds with Special Performance | One Music PH

James Reid made newlyweds Dariz Kho and Emman Pelayo’s special day even more unforgettable as he showed up in the middle of their reception at Ad Meliora Countryside Garden in Amadeo, Cavite.

The couple was filled with glee as the singer-actor serenaded them with a set led by “Attention,” a track from his latest album “Honey, I’m Home,” released on Sept. 10. 

More than a physical residence, the record defines home as the feeling you get while sharing your life with another person — perfectly fitting for a wedding to be one of the first live performances of the album. 

James shared his happiness in having the time and opportunity to be part of Dariz and Emman’s first night as spouses, especially after hearing their story.

The two individuals first crossed paths through their tennis coach. A few rallies later, their bond ended in a Wimbledon-like wedding celebration, where guests dressed in crisp white and greens, in a glass garden pavilion, feeling like a summer afternoon at the courts. 

The guests’ eyes were glued to the couple as James turned his warm, soulful and lighthearted songs into the soundtrack of Dariz and Emman’s wedding day. As the set came to an end, the album title began to feel more like a toast for the two — home, indeed, is wherever the other one is.

Dariz expressed her gratitude to James for the memorable wedding gift, “our guests truly loved the experience, they can’t stop talking about it!”
