Richard Juan named ambassador of SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas

Richard Juan has recently been named an ambassador of SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas.

The television host and entrepreneur, who previously served as an ambassador for the organization, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to once again support its mission of creating brighter futures for children and young people.

“Thank you for welcoming me back as your ambassador. It took me a little longer to say yes, not because I had doubts, but because I wanted to make sure I could fully commit. This time, I look forward to being more involved and creating a lasting impact in the lives of the children. I’m excited for all that we will accomplish together,” Richard said as per press release.

As ambassador, Richard will draw on his experience and influence to champion youth development, skills training, and entrepreneurship. Through various advocacy programs and public initiatives, he hopes to empower young people to pursue their aspirations, build confidence, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

SOS Children’s Village Manila Village Director Raymond Rimando expressed his appreciation to Richard for renewing his commitment to the organization’s mission.

“Your decision to stand with us as our ambassador is a powerful reminder that every child deserves love, care, and the opportunity to thrive. Thank you for choosing to be a source of hope and inspiration for the children, families, and communities we serve,” he said.

Meanwhile, SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas National Director Romil Rayos Del Sol highlighted how Richard’s influence could help raise awareness about the organization’s advocacy.

“First, I would like to thank Richard Juan for accepting our invitation to become the Brand Ambassador of SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas. Your heart for service and your influence will help us reach more people and inspire them to support our mission of ensuring that every child grows up in a loving and safe family,” he stated.

SOS Children’s Villages is an international, non-denominational, non-profit, and non-governmental organization committed to ensuring that children who have lost, or are at risk of losing, parental care grow up in a supportive family environment. In the Philippines, the organization has served children and families since 1967 through family-like care, family strengthening programs, education, youth development, livelihood initiatives, emergency response, and child protection services.
