Korean Actress Kim Yong Ji Is Married! See Her Artsy Outdoor Wedding at a Hanok Ceremony Hall

Korean actress Kim Yong Ji surprised fans when photos from her wedding with her non-showbiz partner circulated online. 

Without any dating rumors or announcements, the event came as a pleasant surprise, especially to those who followed her in K-dramas like Mr. Sunshine, The King: Eternal Monarch, and Tale of the Nine Tailed. 

Kim Yong Ji’s wedding was like a reunion with her co-stars, like Kim Go Eun, Bae Jung Nam, Hwang Hee, Jo Bo Ah, Ryu Kyung Soo, Kim Bum, and Lee Dong Wook. And thanks to posts from some of her guests, including Kim Go Eun, we got glimpses of the beautiful celebration that blended traditional and modern elements.

The wedding was held outdoors at a hanok ceremony hall on October 11. Artsy floral arrangements, with pops of red, filled the charming venue, setting the backdrop for a cool and meaningful union that likewise married cultures. The doorway, landing, and staircase served as the focal point for the ceremony.

The cool bride wore an ivory off-shoulder, form-fitting dress with lace and tulle accents, topped off with a lace veil, and she carried a bouquet of red flowers. She later changed into an olive green dress for the reception. Her husband, whose name has not been made public and whom some guests tagged on Instagram as Kota, donned a navy blue suit with a powder blue button-down, red necktie, and an anthurium flower as a pocket square boutonniere. The presence of their fur babies made the occasion even lovelier.

Kim Yong Ji, 35, first appeared in a K-drama in 2018 via Mr. Sunshine, followed by series like 2019’s Watcher and The Lies Within, 2020’s The King: Eternal Monarch and Tale of the Nine-Tailed Fox, 2022’s Somebody, 2023’s Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938, and 2026’s The Art of Sarah.
