Darren Espanto to hold an intimate live music show on October 25
Darren Espanto is giving fans another opportunity to experience his music up close as he takes the stage for an intimate live show this October.
The OPM singer and television host is set to perform at the Backyard Live Spotlight on October 25 at Backyard Warehouse Studio in Quezon City, where fans can enjoy a more personal concert experience with the Asia’s Pop Heartthrob.
Unlike a conventional concert, Backyard Live offers a more intimate setup that allows audiences to enjoy the performance at their own pace. Guests can choose to sit or stand and move around the venue to find their preferred spot, giving them a more flexible way to experience the music.
For Darren’s upcoming show, fans can look forward to singing along with the singer in a 360-degree performance setup designed to bring the audience closer to him.
The event will only accommodate 360 guests, with tickets priced at ₱1,500 each. Gates will open at 6 p.m., while the show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
Backyard Live also follows a phone-free policy, encouraging guests to put away their devices and stay present throughout the performance. The setup aims to let audiences focus on the music, share the experience with fellow fans, and connect with the artist without the usual distractions of a live show.
The live event has also previously hosted performances by other Filipino acts, including Cup of Joe, KAIA, Ylona Garcia, Dionela, Zack Tabudlo, Janine Teñoso, Adie, and South Border, among many others.
The upcoming performance comes after a milestone year for Darren, who released his full-length album Ikaw Pa Rin in July 2025. The album marked his first album under Star Music and celebrated his 11th year in the entertainment industry.
The 13-track album features five songs penned by Darren, including “Bibitaw Na,” “Hanggang Kailan,” “Ilang Beses,” “Iyo,” and “Paano Kung Tayo Na Lang?,” which he co-wrote with Angela Ken.
Last September, he also performed alongside Vice Ganda at the UAAP Season 89 Opening Ceremony at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Darren rose to prominence after finishing as first runner-up in the first season of The Voice Kids Philippines in 2014. Since then, he has continued to build his career as a singer and television personality, appearing on programs such as It’s Showtime and ASAP.
