Bianca Manalo speaks up on being linked to third-party rumors
Bianca Manalo admitted that she does not understand why she continues to be dragged into third-party rumors, even as she maintains that she is single and has no plans to rush into another relationship.
During an interview with Boy Abunda on October 15, the actress-beauty queen addressed the accusations that have linked her to other people, including actor Rob Gomez and Jonathan Sterling, the former partner of Celeste Cortesi.
When asked why she thinks her name repeatedly comes up in third-party allegations, Bianca said: “I don’t know. And ngayong single ako, ang dami ko pa ring naririnig na kung ano-anong mga istorya.”
The beauty queen even joked that perhaps being in a relationship again would stop people from linking her to different personalities. However, she quickly pointed out that she would not enter a relationship simply to avoid speculation.
“Parang ano ba ‘yan, bakit ‘pag single ako palagi akong nali-link kung kani-kanino. Kailangan ko na atang maging taken ulit,” she joked. “Pero kung hindi naman ako ready pa, bakit naman ako magbo-boyfriend?”
For now, Bianca said she is content with her life and is choosing to spend her time with the people closest to her rather than rush into finding a new partner.
“I’m happy and focusing my happiness with my nephew and nieces, sisters, and my mom. Okay na ako for now. Hindi ako nagmamadali,” she continued.
The actress also acknowledged that some people seem drawn to issues and controversies, adding that she has come to recognize how she herself can become part of such discussions.
During the conversation, Tito Boy also reminded Bianca of the importance of speaking up for herself amid the allegations. The actress affirmed that she speaks up for herself and appreciates those who continue to stand by her.
“I did. Always,” she said, adding that the people who support her know the truth.
She continued: “Hindi ako magsisinungaling. Kung ayaw niyo maniwala, edi huwag. Kung ‘yan ang gusto niyong paniwalaan edi bahala kayo, hindi ko naman kayo mape-please lahat.”
In June, Bianca publicly denied third-party rumors through a statement released by her agency, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, which she shared on Instagram.
“We would like to clarify that there is no truth to rumors circulating about her involvement with another couple,” the statement read.
“She is single and not in any relationship. We hope this settles the matter,” it added.
Bianca was previously in a relationship with Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian. In the same interview, she shared that they remain good friends after their breakup and that she continues to support his commitment to public service.
