Cup of Joe’s ‘Sandali’ submitted for consideration at 2027 Grammy Awards

Cup of Joe’s “Sandali” is one of the songs vying for a spot in the Best Asian Pop Performance category at the 2027 Grammy Awards, giving the Filipino band another opportunity to reach a wider international audience.

The group announced the development through its official social media accounts, confirming that the track had been submitted for consideration.

“A song about finding a little more time with the people who matter, ‘Sandali’ has been submitted for consideration at the 2027 GRAMMY Awards for Best Asian Pop Performance.”

Cup of Joe also expressed its gratitude to their fans, known as Joewahs, for continuing to support the group and its musical journey.

“Mula sa mga awit na atin lang munang pinagsasaluhan, hanggang sa mga pangarap na unti-unti nating naaabot. Maraming salamat, Joewahs, sa pakikinig at sa patuloy na pagsama sa amin. Ang bawat hakbang ay mas nagiging makabuluhan dahil kasama namin kayo. 🧡”

Following the announcement, several fans expressed their excitement and support for the band.

“SA WAKAS. LETS GOOOOO COJ 🔥,” one commented.

“Manifesting this submission to become officially nominated at the 2027 Grammy Awards! 😊🌟🇵🇭✨,” another added.

First Round Voting, which determines the nominees for the categories at the annual Grammy Awards, will take place from October 12 to 22.

The official nominees for the 2027 Grammys will then be announced on November 16.

Meanwhile, Final Round Voting will determine the Grammy winners and is scheduled from December 10, 2026 to January 7, 2027.

The awarding ceremony will then be held on February 7, 2027, in Los Angeles.
