Imelda (Carmina Villaroel) tells Ana (Janine Gutierrez) how she was able to accept Reynaldo’s (Antonio Aquitania) apology in the October 16 episode of “The Loyalty Game.”

Anxiety washes over Ana following her confrontation with her father. She rushes to Imelda’s house to tell her what happened, but it turns out Reynaldo visited Imelda before going to Ana’s atelier. Ana asks Imelda if she has any idea what Reynaldo’s purpose might be, but Imelda refuses to answer.

Not long after, Reynaldo shows up with Juancho (Robbie Jaworski), carrying their personal belongings. Ana remains confused, and Imelda explains that Reynaldo will be staying in town to reconcile with her. Ana refuses to accept Imelda’s decision, questioning her further about why she has suddenly become lenient toward Reynaldo.

“Don’t deny me the pleasure of seeing him beg for my forgiveness!” Imelda reiterates, recalling how Reynaldo begged to speak with her earlier when he suddenly showed up at their house. Imelda lashes out at Reynaldo, who tells her that he will do everything he can to earn her forgiveness.

It is evident that Reynaldo is in need of money, and Imelda mocks him. “Look at yourself. You’re broke, and you’re dying. May karma talaga sa mundong ito,” she tells Reynaldo. Imelda emphasizes how good it makes her feel to see Reynaldo beg for her mercy.

However, Ana still cannot believe Imelda, who discreetly looks at Reynaldo. Reynaldo shakes his head, as if telling Imelda not to say anything further, possibly keeping a secret from Ana.
