Theater actress Eunice Somintac to replace Elha Nympha in ‘Inday’
“Inday The Musical” will push through with its scheduled limited run this weekend at the RCBC Carlos P Romulo Theater in Makati.
Studio A Productions has found a replacement for Elha Nympha, who decided to withdraw from the project due to “material breaches of contract,” as previously stated by her legal counsel.
Theater actress Eunice Somintac will replace Nympha.

According to the profile description sent by Studio A Productions, Somintac is a “multifaceted artist with a presence that extends across various films, television commercials, and diverse creative media, excelling as both a singer and an actor.”
“Shifting from screen to stage, this theater rookie brings the same passion to musical theater, becoming a committed artist who breathes life into stories with authenticity and depth,” it added.
Somintac made her straight play debut with “Bisita,” and recently played Haliya in “Makara: The Musical” under Studio A Productions. Guided by her artistic vision for storytelling, music, and the performing arts, Somintac continues to explore the limitless possibilities of her creativity, leaving an indelible mark on the world of performance.’
Fans are still puzzled as to why Nympha decided to pull out from her supposed theater debut, but both parties did not further elaborate about the alleged “material breaches of contract.”
“Inday The Musical” is also Katrina Velarde’s theater debut project.
