PVL: Myla Pablo delivers in clutch as Nxled avoids collapse vs Farm Fresh

MANILA — Myla Pablo delivered in clutch as Nxled avoided disaster against Farm Fresh, 25-19, 25-17, 23-25, 20-25, 15-12, in the 2026-27 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Siklab series on Saturday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

Pablo put the team on her back late, firing the Chameleons’ last four points—built on three attacks and the game-winning block on Ces Molina—to complete the five-set win, keeping their perfect record and tie Choco Mucho at 2-0 on top of the standings.

The former Conference MVP totaled 17 points, backstopping the 20-point output of Brooke Van Sickle that went with 16 digs and nine receptions.

“Siyempre, nasa isip ko talaga is mag-block lang sa loob ng court, kasi kung maka-touch man ako, malaking bagay na ‘yun kasi malakas naman ‘yung nasa harap, may Brooke ka and MJ,” said Pablo during the postgame interview.

“Kaya lagi kong nire-remind ‘yung sarili ko na every set talaga, kailangan maka-touch and block ako… Bonus na lang din talaga kung makakapalo ako nang maayos,” she added.

Gel Cayuna steered the wheel with 31 excellent sets, as the Chameleons asserted their will on the net with 23 blocks, outplaying the opposition which only had six.

It was their way of compensating after the Foxies nailed 69 attacks, as the Ettore Guidetti-coached squad had an inferior 59 spiking output. Jackie Acuña, who led the rejections with seven, delivered 12 points in total, while MJ Phillips contributed 11 markers.

On the other hand, Farm Fresh could not complete its reverse sweep attempt, dropping to a 1-1 card. Molina led the Strong Group crew with a triple-double of 16 points, 11 digs, and 11 receptions in the defeat.
