Sarangani police remind public to settle disputes peacefully following drowning incident

The Sarangani Police Provincial Office has reminded the public to seek peaceful and lawful ways of resolving disputes following a drowning incident in Alabel, Sarangani. 

In a statement posted on their Facebook page, the police encouraged residents to seek assistance from the Barangay Council for the peaceful settlement of conflicts and to coordinate with the Municipal Police Station if disputes involve threats, coercion, violence, or any potential danger.

The provincial police also emphasized that “while traditional practices may be part of local customs, no dispute should put anyone’s life or safety at risk.” 

Authorities did not provide additional details about the incident.
