House holds necrological service for ex-Speaker Pro Tempore Raul Daza

MANILA — The House of Representatives held Monday a necrological service for former Speaker Pro Tempore Raul Daza, who served as Northern Samar 1st District Representative for seven terms.

Among those who delivered eulogies were Daza’s grandson, Northern Samar 1st District Rep. Niko Raul, and Senator Risa Hontiveros.

Based on a post by Rep. Daza, a memorial will be held from Wednesday to Thursday in Daganas in Northern Samar, followed by another at the Provincial Capitol Gymnatorium on Thursday until Saturday.

The funeral mass is scheduled on Saturday at Our Lady of Annunciation Cathedral.
