Megan Young and Mikael Daez share highlights of first Italy trip with son Leon

Megan Young and Mikael Daez shared highlights of their first long-haul family trip with their son Leon.

The family recently traveled from the Philippines to Italy, where they explored several destinations and enjoyed outdoor activities together.

Megan shared that after arriving in Milan, they headed to Verona for lunch and coffee.

“First stop ☕️ coffee!!! After arriving in Milan, we drove to Verona for lunch and some coffee,” she relayed.

The actress also shared how Leon enjoyed discovering new places and interacting with people throughout their trip.

“Leon has been exploring so much! He loves greeting people and giving flying kisses when he leaves 😆,” she said.

The former Miss World also gave her followers a glimpse of their accommodation in Italy, explaining why they decided to stay in an apartment instead of a hotel.

“Our apartment was BEAUTIFUL! We chose to stay in an apartment so that we could make our own meals and have a bigger space for Leon to move around in,” she explained.

She added: “There was a grocery store right next to the apartment so we made most of our meals. Avo toast and boiled eggs for brekkie! Leon looooooved this!”

Megan also shared that they bought warm clothing for Leon to keep him comfortable during their outdoor adventures.

“We bought Leon a cute wool outfit it kept him warm when we would go on hikes. We got him wool shoes too 🥹,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Mikael documented their hiking adventures in the Dolomites, sharing how Leon enjoyed exploring nature despite the chilly weather.

“Our first hike was a bit damp and cloudy but the views were still suuuuuper epic!! It felt very LOTR 🔥” Mikael shared.

The actor admitted that he initially wasn’t sure how Leon would react to the weather but was pleasantly surprised by his son’s enthusiasm.

“Leon surprisingly had the most fun!! I wasn’t sure if he’d enjoy the cold, damp weather but he found the new environment so interesting!” he said.

He added:  “We did some very easy hikes that he really enjoyed! It was our first nature-focused trip since Boneezy gave birth.”

The family also embarked on a second hike, which Mikael said was recommended by a local.

“2nd hike of our Dolomites adventure and we came prepared!! For this hike, we took the suggestion of a local as they said it was a beautiful but short walk and they were spot on! What we didn’t expect was the food at the peak 😍🔥,” he said.

Reflecting on their weeklong vacation, Mikael expressed how much he enjoyed traveling with their one-year-old son despite having limited time to plan the trip.

“Spent a week in Italy and explored the Dolomites with our 1-year-old 😍 it was a bit of a whirlwind adventure since we didn’t have a lot of time to plan but it was still amazing travelling with Leon!” he remarked.
