‘KPop Demon Hunters’ star EJAE ties the knot with Samuel Kim

KPop Demon Hunters star EJAE has tied the knot with Samuel Kim in Seoul, South Korea.

According to a report by Vogue, the couple exchanged vows on October 17 in a celebration that incorporated their Korean heritage.

“Weaving traditional Korean wedding ceremonies into our wedding weekend was so special for us and our family,” EJAE remarked.

The wedding venue also held a special significance for EJAE, as it was once home to her grandparents during her childhood. “My grandparents lived in the house at the venue when I was a little girl,” she shared.

Reflecting on her wedding day, EJAE described the emotional moment she walked down the aisle, surrounded by the people closest to her.

“I’ll never forget the feeling of walking down the aisle and seeing all of my closest friends and family members surrounding me with their love and support,” she said.

The singer went on: “Sam and I had set intentions to try to stay in the moment and connect with each other and our guests. We definitely were both a bit nervous, but mostly excited to start our lives together as husband and wife.”

EJAE first announced her engagement during an interview with radio station 104.3 MYfm in November 2025, amid the global success of “Golden,” her song from KPop Demon Hunters.

During the interview, the singer also opened up about the challenges she and Samuel had experienced in their relationship, including a previous breakup.

She reflected on how their time apart allowed them to address personal struggles and gain a deeper understanding of themselves, particularly when it came to timing, healing, and personal growth.

The couple eventually rekindled their romance, which later led to their engagement.

Sharing the exciting milestone in her personal life, EJAE exclaimed: “Engaged!”

She added: “It was even crazier, like the dream to be a singer, that worked out too. Every things work out…It’s kind of crazy.”
