Cacdac said they have opened communication and help lines for Filipinos needing assistance.
The DMW chief said no Filipino has been “adversely affected” by the tensions in the past days.
“Humupa na rin [‘yung incidents] as far as we know. Kontrolado na ng law enforcement dun sa mga lugar na ‘yun ang sitwasyon,” Cacdac said at the Kapihan sa Manila Hotel.
“Si Pangulo [Ferdinand Marcos Jr.] mismo, pinag-utos ang monitoring at ‘yung possibility ng evacuation, repatriation, we will be here to help them and to guide them in coordination with our embassies and Consulate General’s office,” he added.
Cacdac said they have been communicating with the Philippine embassies in Paris and Rome and the Consulate General’s Office in Milan.
Protests and clashes in France sparked as critics mounted demonstrations triggered by soaring costs of living while in Italy, protesters blasted rising fuel prices and low wages.
