Andi Eigenmann pays tribute to late mom Jaclyn Jose on her birthday

MANILA — Andi Eigenmann paid tribute to her late mother, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, on Wednesday, October 21, what would have been Jose’s 63rd birthday.

In an Instagram post, Eigenmann described her mother as a “high-caliber artist.”

Jose died of a heart attack at her home on March 2, 2024, at age 60.

Jose passed away last March 2, 2024 due to heart attack in her residence. She left a legacy of unparalleled four-decade-spanning body of work including being the only Southeast Asian actress to ever win Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016, for her role in “Ma’Rosa.”

Before her death, Jose was part of the primetime series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” in which she played Dolores Espinas.
