MarPolo Cabrera celebrates 10 years with ‘Aking Mitolohiya’ exhibit
Visual artist Marco Polo “MarPolo” Cabrera is celebrating his 10th anniversary as an artist with an exhibit that continues to draw inspiration from Philippine mythology.
The exhibit titled “Aking Mitolohiya: A Decade of Art, Life, and Continuance” runs at The Gallery Bar at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria from October 17 to January 31, 2027.
The title carries a dual meaning, celebrating Cabrera’s evolving mythology as an artist while also reflecting his penchant for drawing inspiration from local myths and folklore.

Through the exhibit, Cabrera — who used to work with ABS-CBN News — hopes to inspire audiences to “look more deeply into their cultural heritage and see Philippine mythology not only as a collection of ancient narratives, but also as a living source of identity, creativity, and inspiration.”
Ten percent of the exhibit’s proceeds will be donated to Project PEARLS, a nonprofit organization supporting children living in extreme poverty.
