Released on Friday, the six-track “Press Play” follows the BLACKPINK member’s debut solo album, “Alter Ego,” which came out in February 2025.
The EP “is created with a movie in mind, so fans can sit down, and ‘press play,’” according to a press release.
Lisa also unveiled a music video for the lead single “Tarantino,” inspired by American filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, best known for films such as “Pulp Fiction,” “Kill Bill,” “Django Unchained” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
In the video, Lisa makes her way through a hotel to deliver a note to Tarantino, fighting off people who stand in her way in a series of action-packed scenes.
The EP also includes the pre-release single “SaWaDiKa,” named after the Thai greeting for “hello,” with an accompanying music video filmed in Bangkok.
Aside from the EP, Lisa’s documentary, which chronicles the making of “Alter Ego,” also recently premiered in cinemas worldwide.
Lisa, whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, debuted in 2016 as a member of Blackpink, one of K-pop’s most popular all-female acts known for songs such as “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” “Kill This Love” and “How You Like That.”
