‘False information’: McCoy de Leon speaks up on claims of overlapping relationships

“VHS (Viva Horror Stories)” actor McCoy de Leon said Monday speculations that his relationships with Elisse Joson and Sachzna Laparan overlapped were “false information.”

“I am always praying and hoping that we can be more responsible sharing information. Lalo na false information, kasi may family involved. Both families involved. Lalo na pinaka-important sa ‘kin, may bata involved,” he said in an interview during the black carpet premiere of “VHS” in Mandaluyong.

Laparan, who is also part of the cast of “VHS,” revealed during her guesting on “Banana Krew” hosted by DJ Jhaiho that she was previously in relationship with De Leon.

“For how many years kasi ngayon lang siya nalaman. Pero I think it is time naman,” she said.

Following the reactions online to her interview, Laparan said she was doing “okay,” although she wondered whether her remarks had upset anyone.

“Hindi  ko nga alam baka may nagalit sa akin,” she admitted.

The actress said she has yet to speak to either De Leon and Joson.

Also part of the Darryl Yap-directed “VHS” are Sarah Lahbati, Ella Cruz and Kit Thompson.

The horror movie is set to hit cinemas on October 28.
