The venue for Kings of Convenience’s upcoming concert in Manila has been changed, the event’s local promoter announced Wednesday.

The Norwegian indie folk duo will now perform at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, still on the original date of November 20, Karpos said.

The concert was earlier announced to be held at the PICC Plenary Hall.

Karpos said all existing ticketholders would receive new tickets via email following the venue change.

Ticket prices remain unchanged, with SVIP tickets priced at P6,100, VIP at P5,330, and Silver (formerly Loge) at P4,230. Tickets are available through this link.

The concert marks the duo’s first performance in the country in 16 years.

Kings of Convenience first gained attention with their 2001 debut album, “Quiet Is the New Loud,” before expanding their audience with the release of “Riot On an Empty Street” in 2004.
