Vice Ganda cheers on Ion Perez at cycling race as they celebrate 8th anniversary
It’s Showtime host Ion Perez expressed his appreciation for longtime partner Vice Ganda as they celebrated their eighth anniversary as a couple.
On Instagram, Ion shared photos from his recent cycling race, Gravelton 2026, held in Clark, Pampanga, where Vice was present to show his support for him.
“Sa likod ng bawat magandang araw ay ang iyong pagmamahal
sa likod naman ng bawat mahirap na araw ay ang iyong suporta
happy 8th year anniversary babe ko! ♥️💋🫶🏻,” the noontime show host wrote.
Among the photos he shared was a selfie with Vice and their fellow It’s Showtime host Ryan Bang, whom they fondly call their “baby boy.” He also showed off his cycling shirt, which featured the words “I LOVE MY WIFE” at the center of several “I LOVE CYCLING” phrases.
Vice, meanwhile, also shared his excitement over Ion’s achievement in an Instagram Story, which has since expired. He posted videos of Ion receiving his award after finishing eighth in the race.
“Congrats babe! Yehey! We love you! 8th place! Yes!” Vice Ganda proudly said, showcasing Ion’s trophy.

During an episode of It’s Showtime, Vice also shared how they spent their eighth anniversary over the weekend, revealing that they traveled to La Union to celebrate with their family away from the spotlight.
“Ion and I celebrated our 8th anniversary and dahil 8th anniversary namin, nag-8th place siya noong Linggo,” Vice Ganda said. “Nag-relax lang kami. We celebrated with the family. No camera.”
The couple first confirmed their relationship in 2019 during the 10th anniversary celebration of It’s Showtime. They later tied the knot at The Little Vegas Chapel in Nevada, United States, in 2021.
In a previous vlog, Vice and Ion also opened up about how their relationship has shaped their perspective on love and life, emphasizing the importance of embracing life’s unexpected turns and making time for shared experiences.
“Ang gusto namin makapagpahinga together sa isang lugar na tahimik. As you mature, parang naiinsecure ka na rin sa panahon so habang naiinsecure ka sa panahon narerealize mo yung mga bagay na hindi mo pa mae-experience,” Vice said.
For Vice, having someone to share life’s experiences with makes the journey more meaningful, saying: “Masarap kapag mayroon kang kasama. Masarap maexperience ang life if you have someone to experience it with. Love makes life more exciting. Walang isang mukha lang ang love and relationship but it is all worth it.”
Ion, for his part, emphasized that respect and consistency remain important in keeping their relationship strong, even after years of being together.
“Napapa-isip ako kung nagagawa ko pa ba nang tama bilang partner niya, kung nabibigay ko ba tamang respeto sa relasyon namin kasi ganoon dapat na kahit ang asawa na kayo hindi dapat mawawala yung respeto niyo sa isa’t isa,” Ion said.
