Wife is angry? “Sigabo” actors Art Acuña, Joko Diaz, and Lauren Novero offer some advice to husbands

For sure, many viewers can relate to the predicament our beloved primetime hero Gabo (Coco Martin) is currently facing in “Coco Martin’s Sigabo.” His heart may be aching following his misunderstanding with his “wife,” Gloria (Julia Montes), after his passenger-slash-target Misty (Ina Raymundo) paid him a surprise visit and made flirtatious advances toward him. However, Gabo still has work to do as he strives to accomplish his first-ever mission as an official member of the covert vigilante group Anino. 

As Gabo still figures out how to earn Gloria’s forgiveness and convince her that he has not done anything wrong, some of the series’ stars have weighed in on their relationship woes. While the actors taking on the roles of Gabo’ family and friends have already shared their respective takes on the matter, CCM Film Productions has also sought the opinions of other cast members. 

In a recent “Mga Kwentong Set” reel posted on its official social media pages, three more actors were quizzed, “Ano ang mangyayari kay Mister kapag nagalit si Misis?” (“What happens to the husband when his wife gets angry?”) in a segment called “Tito Talks,”— and their answers might just give Gabo some ideas on how to win Gloria over again.

Team NLEA had a few things to say about what Gabo should—and shouldn’t—do whenever Gloria gets mad at him. 

For Art, who plays, PLTCOL Romulo Domingo, a husband stands to lose the ‘blessings’ his wife brings into his life when he upsets her. If Gabo is a fair and loving husband, he should find a way to appease Gloria and help her let go of her anger. 

Meanwhile, Joko, who portrays PCPT Melchor Umali, shared that it saddens him whenever his wife gets angry at him. He therefore advises Gabo to heed Gloria’s requests to keep her from getting even angrier and help put an end to their conflict. That way, they can avoid further problems.  

Lastly, Lauren, who plays PMSg Renato Santos, said he prefers to keep quiet because talking back would only prolong the argument. Regardless of why his wife is angry, he believes there is little a husband can do once emotions run high. He would probably advise Gabo to stay silent and concede defeat so they can put the disagreement behind them as quickly as possible.
