FULL LIST: Michelin Guide Philippines 2027 awardees

The Michelin Guide has returned for its 2027 selection of the best restaurants in the Philippines. 

Chefs, tourism stakeholders, and tastemakers gathered at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Manila for the awarding ceremony on Thursday, October 29.

This marks the second edition of the prestigious guide in the country, a result of a partnership with the Department of Tourism as it seeks to push Philippine gastronomy onto the global culinary map.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos-Araneta also graced the Michelin Guide’s awarding ceremony for its 2027 selection in the Philippines.

From last year’s 108 establishments, the 2027 Michelin Guide for the Philippines has expanded to include 127 restaurants across three distinctions: Stars, Bib Gourmand, and Selected. 

These were awarded based on five universal criteria: quality of ingredients, mastery of technique, harmony of flavors, personality of the chef through the cuisine, and consistency.

Four special awards were also given out: the Michelin Service Award to Clyde Joshua Zafra, restaurant manager of Tito Boy in Pampanga; the Michelin Young Chef Award to Chef Francis Lacson of Digamo; Michelin Exceptional Cocktails Award to Ron Job Sanchez of Automat; and Michelin Opening of the Year Award to Chef Frances Tariga of Tadhana.
