The Clothes, The Stars, and The Moments at the ELIE SAAB H&M Launch Party in Kuala Lumpur

If there was one dress code for the night, it was to make an entrance, H&M and Elie Saab way. On October 19, Metro headed to Kuala Lumpur for the exclusive Southeast Asian launch party of ELIE SAAB H&M, where fashion, music, and a star-studded guest list came together for a first look at the designer collaboration. And the night was peak glamour.

Set at The Estate on Federal Hill, the evening gathered some of the region’s most recognizable names, with Filipino stars Kylie Verzosa, Michelle Marquez Dee, Bela Padilla, Camille Co, and Katrina Llegado joining the celebrations. They were in good company with Thailand’s Tul Pakorn and Malaysian personalities Anna Jobling, Eyka Farhana and other familiar names like Scha Alyahya, Awal Ashaari, and Juwei Teoh, alongside guests from the region.

The guest list alone offered plenty to look forward to, with personalities from across Southeast Asia arriving in looks that matched the occasion’s glamorous mood. Among the familiar faces were Kylie Verzosa, Michelle Dee, Bela Padilla, Camille Co, and Katrina Llegado, making it a fashionable Filipino showing at the regional gathering.

Tul Pakorn added an international star presence, while Anna Jobling, Eyka Farhana, Scha Alyahya, and Awal Ashaari represented Malaysia’s style set. The evening also brought together fashion personalities Aimee and Hannah Cheng-Bradshaw, Rachel Wong, Cloe Mak, An Phương, and Ngô Bảo Ngọc, and more.

Naturally, the collection was the evening’s main attraction. Known for intricate embellishments, striking eveningwear, and elegant silhouettes, ELIE SAAB brings its signature approach to glamour to H&M through a range spanning ready-to-wear, occasionwear, menswear, and accessories.

Guests had the chance to get up close with the pieces before the public launch, taking in the intricate detailing, shimmering finishes, and considered tailoring. Standout designs across the collection include gradient-sequin separates, dramatic gowns, lace accents, and statement accessories, offering plenty of inspiration for those looking to bring a little more glamour into their wardrobes.

The preview also gave guests an exclusive shopping experience, making it possible to take home their favorite pieces before the collection reached stores.

The celebration continued beyond the fashion. Soul singer Elvira Arul performed live, setting the mood for the evening before DJ Julia Amin took over the music. With the Kuala Lumpur skyline as the backdrop, guests mingled, explored the collection, and celebrated the collaboration late into the night.

The event served as an early introduction to a collection that brings ELIE SAAB’s signature aesthetic to a wider audience through H&M. Following the Kuala Lumpur preview, ELIE SAAB H&M officially launched on October 22, 2026, online and in select stores, including H&M Ayala Greenbelt in the Philippines.
