Imelda (Carmina Villarroel) recalls how Reynaldo (Antonio Aquitania) betrayed her in the October 29 episode of “The Loyalty Game.”

At her house, Imelda overhears Reynaldo talking to one of the housemaids about the broken lampshade he found somewhere. Reynaldo asks if it had been broken for a long time and if they had no time to call someone to fix it. “Ako na ang bahala,” Reynaldo says, as Imelda watches him.

Imelda could not help but recall the time when Reynaldo would refuse to fix whatever was wrong in their house and would tell Imelda to just call someone who could fix it. Reynaldo would always leave the town, and when Imelda tried to confront him, he would just tell her that he needed to go to Manila to work on something.

Reynaldo’s constant lies led Imelda to become suspicious. One time, she decided to follow Reynaldo to Manila, where she saw him taking another girl on a date. Imelda cried the first time she found out about it, heartbroken to see Reynaldo cheating on her.

Not long after, Reynaldo decided to leave his family, which even led to the death of his son, Sam, from a snake bite while Imelda begged him to stay. Imelda cries as she remembers everything. “It feels just like yesterday,” she says through gritted teeth. Her train of thought is interrupted after receiving a call.
