Kris Aquino currently leasing property of Anne Curtis at a ‘ninang price’
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino revealed that she is currently staying at the property of Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis. In an interview with Boy Abunda on Fast Talk, she shared how grateful she is that the actress was able to lease it to them at a “ninang price.”
Kris, who returned from the US a few years ago, has been staying at Anne’s property because of her medical needs. She has been diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases and has been receiving treatment from it since then.
While she didn’t reveal how much she’s leasing the property, Kris maintained that they are lucky in that aspect as Anne is the godmother of Bimby Aquino.
“We’re leasing where we’re staying. It’s the unit of Anne Curtis and it was given at a ninang price because ninang siya ni Bimb. Masuwerte kami talaga in that aspect kasi we need to be within 30 minutes of a tertiary hospital,” Kris explained.
In the same interview, Kris opened up about the financial aspect of her treatment. She revealed that she was able to get insurance not just for herself but for her kids as well which fortunately covers the health challenges she has now.
“So medicine is not as expensive here as it would be abroad pero di hamak mas marami kang pagpipilian in the States. I was very fortunate na nung kumuha ako ng insurance for myself and the boys, I only had hypertension so covered ito. Pero mabigat–– mahal yung premium na binabayaran ko for that but at least it does take care for a lot of the bills,” she shared.
Though insurance may cover a lot of the bills, she added how expensive things can be especially since she needs extra care–– having two nurses that are with her for 24 hours.
“Pero, mahal siya because I need 24-hour na nurses–– kailangan two at a time because naka ilang bagsak na ako,” she admitted.
As she slowly recovers from her health challenges, Kris expressed how the endorsements that are coming in now have also helped ease the bills–– especially for her siblings who have been supportive of her journey.
“Mahal na mahal siya and I have to thank my siblings because it’s been a family thing. I was so proud na nung itong September kasi may mga endorsements ako na pumasok. I said, you only have to share one-third nalang, two-third kaya ko na,” she ended.
