Bumper-to-bumper traffic on C-5 Road amid flyover repairs
Heavy traffic on C-5 Road in Pasig on Oct.31, 2026. ABS-CBN NewsMANILA — Traffic on a portion of C-5 Road in Pasig City was bumper to bumper early morning Sunday, November 1, because of repair work on the Pasig Boulevard–C-5 Flyover.
The flyover has been closed to motorists for retrofitting and repair works during the Undas period.
The Department of Public Works and Highways earlier announced the temporary closure of the flyover’s northbound and southbound lanes from 11 p.m. on October 30 until 4 a.m. on November 3 to make way for the repair works.
Motorists have been advised to expect traffic delays, allot additional travel time, and take alternative routes when necessary.
The overall repair project is expected to continue until March 18, 2027, as part of the DPWH’s efforts to improve the flyover’s structural integrity and ensure road safety.
