Day 9: “Friends lang talaga” Shea, hinahangaan si Jeo | PBB Collab 3.0

As her closeness with fellow “Pinoy Big Brother Collab 3.0” housemate Jeo Ong continues to grow, Shea Valerio reveals that she already had a crush on him even before meeting him in person inside Bahay Ni Kuya. 

During the November 1 episode of the hit reality show, Shea shares with Big Brother) how she and the other girl housemates have noticed Jeo’s caring and thoughtful nature toward them. 

“Kaming mga girls, Kuya, (napansin namin) na si Jeo sobrang caring, sobrang maalagain. Talagang kapag may masakit sa’yo, aano agad siya na ‘Okay ka lang? Anong kailangan mo?’” Shea says. 

Cianne Dominguez shares the same observation, saying she has personally experienced how Jeo goes the extra mile to look after the people around him. However, she admits that she is cautious about interpreting his actions, as she has experienced being led on before, only to realize that the situation was not what she initially thought. 

Their conversation about Jeo’s caring nature continues as Cianne recalls seeing him and Shea mopping the floor in the same area. Shea clarifies that they were working together because the mop was broken and Jeo offered to help her. 

In her conversation with Kuya, Shea eventually reveals that she had already developed a crush on Jeo even before entering the house and shares what she admires most about him.  

“Ang pinaka-(nagustuhan) ko sa kaniya is napakamalambing niya Kuya sa family niya. Parang sobrang rare na makakita ng (guy) na nagpapakita ng affection, Parang affectionate siya sa kapatid niya, sa family niya,” Shea says. 

Jeo’s affectionate relationship with his family particularly catches Shea’s attention, as she also grew up in a big family and values her close bond with her loved ones. 

“Lumaki ako sa malaking family so napakalapit ko sa pamilya ko kaya ayon hinahangaan ko siya. Ngayon na nasa harapan ko siya, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala,” Shea adds. 

During their conversation, Cianne asks Shea if she is comfortable with their fellow housemates teasing her about Jeo. Shea admits that she prefers to keep her feelings private, especially since she does not want the teasing to affect her growing friendship with him. Cianne acknowledges her request. 

Shea further tells Kuya why she chooses to keep things friendly with Jeo, despite having had a crush on him before they met before they met in person. 

“Gusto ko friends kasi ayaw ko ipa-feel sa kaniya na nagustuhan ko siya dati. Gusto ko ma-feel niya na friends lang talaga kami. Ayaw ko ma-feel na maging uncomfy siya sa akin kasi close na nga kami,” she says.
