Celebrities showcase elaborate Halloween looks at ‘Shake, Rattle & Ball 2026’
Last October 31, the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel turned into a fever dream for Tim Yap’s annual Shake, Rattle & Ball 2026: LUCID — that much-anticipated gathering of entertainment, high society, and the beautifully outlandish.
Among those who attended were several personalities from ALV Talent Circuit, including Teejay Marquez, Anita Rose Gomez, Jayvee Lyn Lorejo and Sophia Bianca Santos, who came dressed as fantastical and pop culture-inspired characters.
Leading the pack was Teejay Marquez, who commanded the room as The Black Merman. The look was custom, sculpted, and unapologetically theatrical — a Patrick Isorena creation that had cameras flashing before he even struck a pose.
Then there was Anita Rose Gomez as Starfire, all fire and fierce. The transformation paid off — she took home a special award from Newport World Resorts for a standout look that truly burned bright.
BNC News anchor Maria Gigante went full mystery as The Mummy — wrapped, enigmatic, and editorial. Beauty queen power came in full force with Miss Global Asia 2026 Jayvee Lyn Lorejo as the Bloody Goddess of the Moon, chilling and captivating, and Miss Elite 2026 Sophia Bianca Santos who shimmered as Galaxy Princess, literally dripping with stars.
Meredith Bobadilla brought dream and nightmare together as Phantom of Dreams, which earned her a special award from Aivee Clinic. Miss Grand Allstars Keylyn Trajano sank her claws into the night as Monster High’s Clawdeen Wolf — ferocious, fashionable, and fun, while Ansha Jones channeled the cult cool of Mia Wallace, bob and all.
Completing the lineup of scene-stealers: Alyssa Geronimo as Poseidon’s Heiress, regal and drenched in sea-goddess energy; VMX Premium Crush Angel Castro who made everyone believe in Marimar all over again; and “Secrets of Prague” star Mark Ian Garcia, who went classic horror as Victor Frankenstein and reminded everyone why monsters never go out of style.
Shake, Rattle & Ball has long been more than a party. It is a barometer — who is brave enough to play, to transform, to commit. Year after year, it brings together tastemakers and risk-takers for a night where imagination wins.
