Bea Borres clarifies absence from Andrea Brillantes’s event

Social media influencer Bea Borres broke her silence after netizens speculated about the status of the friendship between her and actress Andrea Brillantes. In her Facebook post, the internet personality addressed the issue and clarified that she had a conversation with Andrea already. 

Andrea was spotted with Danica Ontengco and Criza Taa at her event and netizens wondered why Bea wasn’t present. 

“I’ve been seeing so many assumptions about our friendship, with people claiming na FO na raw kami and making up so many stories. Yes, Blythe and I already had a conversation about what happened, but that doesn’t mean we’re no longer friends,” Bea wrote.

The actress maintained that she wasn’t able to attend the event that the other three were at as she went out the previous night which ruined the plans she had for halloween–– including watching Zara Larsson’s concert in the country. “I went out on Thursday and admittedly, sumagad talaga ako, which was wrong on my part because I already had plans lined up for the following days. I had a Zara Larsson concert to attend, Lucky Beauty’s event, and even a table reserved at a club that I didn’t get to claim,” she expressed.

“I was really looking forward to celebrating Halloween this year because I wasn’t able to celebrate last year since I was pregnant. October 31 was actually the day I intended to go all out, but unfortunately, I was already starting to feel sick,” she added.

Bea revealed that she even gave her tickets to Andrea’s sister as she didn’t want it to go to waste. 

“Mind you, I’ve been preparing for that concert for months. I already had an outfit custom-made specifically for it and even booked my hair and makeup appointments in advance. That’s how excited I was to go. So imagine having to cancel something you’ve been looking forward to for months because of a bad hangover and because you could already feel yourself getting sick,” she maintained.

 While she was unable to attend any of the plans she made, the social media personality shared that she takes full responsibility for everything that happened in the past few days. She asserted that there’s no issue to begin with and maintained that being absent from an event doesn’t mean the friendship has fallen out. 

“I hope people understand that me not showing up doesn’t automatically mean there’s an issue between me and my friends. Sometimes, things really are just as simple as they seem. Not everything has to have a deeper meaning, and not every absence means there’s a falling out between friends,” she said. 

“You can criticize me for my own actions, but please don’t make me responsible for other people’s choices or create issues out of assumptions,” she ended.
