Ate Gay to be laid to rest on November 10

MANILA — The details of wake and burial of comedian-singer Ate Gay have been released.

According to a post uploaded on the late comedian’s social media accounts, the public viewing which started November 4 will be held until November 9 at the Forest Lake, Biñan, Laguna. 

Visiting hours for public viewing is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Family, close relatives, Ate Gay’s friends, colleagues, and friends of the family may visit anytime.

The final farewell and burial of Ate Gay will happen on November 10, Tuesday.

Born Gil Aducal Morales, Ate Gay passed away “peacefully” on November 1, while surrounded by his family. 

He had announced his cancer battle in September 2025. Last October 30, Ate Gay suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with septic shock and acute respiratory failure secondary to pneumonia.

Last month, Ate Gay, who was known for impersonating the late National Artist Nora Aunor, held a “living funeral” with family and friends paying tribute.
