The Philippines’ representative, Sasha Lacuna, got off to a strong start as she was the first to secure a Top 21 slot.

She entered the semi-finals as the winner of the Social Media Award, which is based on both engagements and new followers.

After the swimsuit competition, where she graced the stage in a sparkly pink bikini, Lacuna was included in the Top 11.

Looking like a golden girl during the evening gown competition, the Filipina beauty queen went on to end her journey in the Top 11.

Lacuna was hoping to follow in the footsteps of Ann Colis and Maureen Montagne, who won the Miss Globe crown for the Philippines in 2015 and 2021, respectively.

Aside from the Social Media Award, she also made it to the Top 6 of the national costume competition as she brought the story of her home province of Tarlac.
