SNEAK PEEK: IKEA bus gives preview of Cebu store
Furniture giant IKEA gave Cebuanos a preview of what’s to come through its Home Furnishing Bus launched Friday at the Cebu IT Park.
The mobile showroom showcased space-saving ideas and furnishing options.
“It is a roving, immersive experience designed to bring the brand’s smart, flexible storage solutions, and heartfelt home stories closer to Filipino households,” IKEA Philippines said.
The company earlier announced that it would open its first store in the Visayas in Mandaue City in December.
The 4,000-square-meter store, roughly the size of five basketball courts, will feature 41 installation showcases for the kitchen, living room, and bedroom, including 8,500 items of the brand.
The IKEA Home Furnishing Bus was first launched on Feb. 6, 2026, in Pasay City.
IKEA has stores in Pasay City and in Quezon City.
