The “Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal” Lucky Stars share stories you probably haven’t heard before!

The surprises on “Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal” aren’t just the ones hiding inside those briefcases, because the Lucky Stars also have some intriguing stories to tell about themselves, including details we don’t usually hear about or might not even know at all.

In this edition of Kapamilya Toplist, we’re getting to know the Lucky Stars a little better as they share trivia bits about their lives behind the cameras.

Name something you’d want in a performer, Geneva Cruz has it. But when she’s not busy owning the stage, her favorite place to be is the library where she loves reading science books, particularly about planets and astronomy.

Comedian Pepay dropped something personal on the show as he introduced his biological son, Kenji. Pepay humorously shared that he ‘came out’ young but that didn’t stop him from wanting to have a child and continue his family line.

“Simula noong maliit siya, ine-explain ko na sa kan’ya kung bakit ako nagme-makeup just because pupunta ako ng trabaho,” he said. And because Kenji grew up under his care, he never had to hide anything from his son. One important reminder he gives Kenji is to never disrespect gay people.

Ever wondered how content creators Abdul and Marsy became a tandem? Marsy contacted Abdul to inquire about a vacancy at the company where he was working. Abdul then helped him apply for the position  and they ended up becoming workmates.

In another episode, Emilio Daez made every dog lover’s heart melt when he gushed about adopting an ‘aspin’ named Sunnie, a rescue dog who had been injured after getting hit by a vehicle. Thankfully, Sunnie has since recovered.

We also got a little glimpse into Anji Salvacion’s bucket list, and on top of it is her dream of pursuing a career in nursing.

There’s no denying that acting runs through the veins of Jeffrey Santos and his sister Judy Ann Santos. But probably most of us had no idea how sweet their sibling relationship is in real life. Jeffrey revealed that back when they were still living in the same house and their schedules were so packed that they barely saw each other at home, they would leave sticky notes on each other’s doors.

On a more personal note, Ynez Veneracion got candid about battling depression during her late 20s, when she felt problems came crashing down all at once. The actress got emotional while talking about that difficult period and how she survived that dark season through faith.

When it was her turn to play “Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal,” Aubrey Miles mentioned that she planned on spending her winnings on therapy sessions of her daughter Rocket, who is on the autism spectrum. And as a proud mom, Aubrey shared that Rocket has progressed from being nonverbal to becoming more active in singing and dancing.
