GOOD VIBES: Man proposes in the middle of LANY concert in Cebu

CEBU — A section of the arena in Cebu City was filled with excitement after seeing a man propose to his girlfriend in the middle of the concert by American band LANY last Friday, November 6.

While the band was playing their hit song ILYSB, the man got down on one knee to ask the woman’s hand in marriage.

The couple was identified as Chloie Borja and Mark Vergara.

Borja shared that they have been together for five years and eight months.

“Honestly, I was shocked! I never saw it coming. I thought it was just going to be our first concert together, but he turned it into one of the most special nights of my life,” shared Borja.

Of course, Chloie said yes to the sweet proposal.

“We were also all very ‘kilig’,” wrote the uploader Debbie Dabon-Entes in Cebuano.

LANY is currently in Manila this weekend for its two-night sold-out shows.

Afterward, the band will be in Bangkok and will be back in Cebu on November 12.
