Sigabo: Gabo, pumayag na sa kahilingan ni Gloria | Episode 73
Although he initially strongly objects to Gloria’s (Julia Montes) request for him to get a haircut, Gabo (Coco Martin) ultimately gives in, with his family backing her up. When he asks them what hairstyle he should get, his Uncle Dante suggests the trendy buzz cut, while his father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), recommends the traditional “gupit-binata”—which he both rejects.
Gabo has the same reaction when Gloria advises him to ask the barber for a military cut, arguing that he would lose too much of his hair, which he believes is the source of his strength. However, claiming that he loves Gloria, he eventually agrees and heads to the nearby barbershop.
On his way to the barber shop, Gabo is stopped by Diday (Diana Opilac) and her family, who ask him where he is headed. Upon learning that he’s about to have his hair cut at Gloria’s request, they are shocked and tease him that he might lose his power like Samson. Gabo reiterates that he’s actually against the idea but says that he loves Gloria so much that he is willing to honor her request.
Meanwhile, as they return inside the house, Rudy asks Gloria how she managed to convince Gabo to have his mane chopped off. Gloria explains that she simply told him that he needed to look professional, to which he agreed. Dante jokes that she must have put Gabo under a love spell, prompting Mameng (Ces Quesada) to admonish her husband and remark that what’s most important is that Gloria was able to get Gabo to obey her.
Gloria then goes to Gabo’s bedroom to look for smart-casual clothes he can wear for his job application, but she finds none.
