Sigabo: Gloria, narinig ang pagtatapat ng puso ni Gabo | Episode 79

While the original plan was for Gloria (Julia Montes) to get drunk, it seems Gabo (Coco Martin) is the one who ends up intoxicated after they drink together. As they lie in bed, Gabo begins talking in his sleep, starting with warning anyone who might try to harm Gloria.

Although Gloria initially pays no attention, her interest is piqued when Gabo suddenly mentions her name. He apologizes to Gloria for lying to her, explaining that it’s the only way he could think of in order to protect her, especially with her life in danger. He assures her that she has nothing to worry about because he won’t let anything bad happen to her, even if it means putting his own life on the line for her.

Gloria becomes even more intrigued when Gabo mentions the name “Victor.” Assuming he is referring to Victor Zafra (JM de Guzman), the notorious leader of an illegal drug syndicate, she asks about his connection to him. Just when Gloria thinks that she’s finally going to get the answers she has been desperately seeking, she is truly disappointed upon realizing that Gabo is actually pertaining to an actor whom he considers his “idol.”

Despite the letdown, Gloria continues listening as Gabo once again mentions her name—this time, to confess his feelings for her. Gabo reveals that he initially thought Gloria was snobbish when they first met. However, as they have spent more time together, he has come to see how kind-hearted and beautiful she truly is, leaving Gloria touched by his words.

Gabo admits that he thinks he may have fallen in love with her, but he is too afraid to confess his feelings because he is convinced that Gloria could never love him back. It also scares him that Gloria will soon discover the truth, knowing that she will surely leave him once she does.

As Gabo repeatedly tells Gloria how much he loves her and expresses his hope that she will come to love him, too, he suddenly turns toward her and pulls her into an embrace, leaving Gloria seemingly uncomfortable.
