Jackie Gonzaga remembers late mom Luisa on her birthday: ‘I miss you extra extra today’
Jackie Gonzaga remembered her late mother, Luisa, on her birthday, sharing a touching video of their time together and a message about missing her presence.
In an Instagram post on October 10, Jackie uploaded a video of herself driving while her mother sat in the passenger seat. She accompanied the clip with a sweet birthday greeting, calling Luisa her favorite passenger princess.
“Happy birthday to my favorite passenger princess ♥️,” she wrote.
The video captured a sweet conversation between a mother and a daughter. When Jackie asked her if she had a motto to live by, her mother responded with a simple reminder that reflected her kindness.
“Do good. Always be kind,” Luisa said.
Alongside the video, Jackie shared how she continues to think about her mother every day, especially as another milestone passes since her death.
“I miss you extra extra today Ma… 40 days na lumipas… Lagi ka namen iniisip bawat araw. Ano kaya ginagawa mo? Sana okay ka lang diyan ☺️” Jackie wrote.
The It’s Showtime also expressed her longing to see her mother again, even if only for a brief visit, as she greeted her on her birthday in heaven.
“Dalawin mo naman ako please. Payakap lang Mommy ko… Intayin ko yon ha? I love you! Happy birthday in heaven mahal kong Mommy ♥️🪽” she added.
Jackie’s post drew messages of sympathy and support from netizens, many of whom also sent birthday greetings to her late mother. Others shared comforting words for Jackie as she continues to grieve her loss.

Before her passing, Luisa worked as a secretary at a garments company.
Jackie first announced that Luisa had passed away in early September. The family has not publicly disclosed the cause of her death.
In her announcement, Jackie shared photos and videos of moments with her mother while she was in confined in a hospital. In that tribute, she expressed her admiration for her mother’s strength and love.
