5 reasons to see Japanese rock band FLOW in Manila

If you ever sang along to “GO!!!” or “Sign” while watching Naruto, you’ll want to be at this show.

Japanese rock band FLOW is coming back to Manila for a one-night concert built around songs from the hit anime franchise. FLOW WORLD TOUR 2026 “NARUTO THE ROCK” IN MANILA will be held on Tuesday, October 20, at 8 p.m. at the Sky Dome in SM North EDSA, Quezon City.

The show is presented by PULP Live World. Here are five reasons fans should catch it.

The setlist is all Naruto

Every song on the tour comes from the Naruto series. FLOW will perform its own theme songs for the anime, including “GO!!!” and “Sign.”

The band will also play its versions of Naruto songs first recorded by other acts, such as “Haruka Kanata” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation and “Silhouette” by KANA-BOON. FLOW released these covers in 2023 on the album FLOW THE COVER ~NARUTO Shibari~.

For longtime viewers, that means one night of openings spanning the anime’s long run.

“Sign” is one of the band’s biggest songs

“GO!!!” served as the fourth opening theme of the original Naruto series. A few years later, FLOW returned with “Sign,” the sixth opening of Naruto Shippuden.

“Sign” has since logged more than 140 million plays on Spotify, according to the band’s tour materials.

Fans who have only heard it on their phones or on TV can now hear it live, with a whole crowd singing along.

It’s a first for Manila

FLOW has played in Manila before, but this is the first time the band is bringing its Naruto-only concert to the country.

The “NARUTO THE ROCK” tour started in 2025 with shows in Europe and North America, then moved to Central and South America this year. Its Asian leg includes stops in Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Taipei, with the Taipei show set two days before Manila.

FLOW has years of live experience

FLOW has five members: vocalists KOHSHI and KEIGO, guitarist TAKE, bassist GOT’S and drummer IWASAKI. Brothers KOHSHI and TAKE began playing music together in 1993, and the band released its first major-label single, “Blaster,” in 2003.

Aside from Naruto, FLOW has recorded theme songs for other anime, including Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Eureka Seven, and The Seven Deadly Sins. The band has also been performing outside Japan since 2006.

Shows on this tour have used anime footage that plays in sync with the music on stage.

Some fans get to meet the band

The Manila show has no assigned seats. Fans can take a seat on a first-come basis or stay in the standing area.

Fans who want to see FLOW up close can go for VIP A, which is priced at psign ₱7,500. It comes with a group photo, a hi-touch session, a printed autographed A3 poster, and priority entry.

Tickets have been on sale through SM Tickets since June 20.
