TJ Monterde concludes concert tours with 69 shows across 12 countries

TJ Monterde expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported his concert tours, which spanned 69 shows across 12 countries over more than two years.

On Instagram, the singer-songwriter reflected on the milestone and shared his disbelief at how far his journey had taken him.

“69 SHOWS LATER, ANDITO PA RIN AKO —’totoo ba talaga ‘to?’ 🥺” he wrote.

TJ went on to thank everyone who attended his performances, acknowledging the role of his supporters in making each show memorable.

“Sa lahat po ng nakasama namin sa 69 shows na yon, maraming maraming salamat, you made every single show special — kaya rin tayo umabot dito. dahil sa inyo,” he remarked.

The singer also paid tribute to his production team for their hard work and dedication throughout the journey.

“Sa buong prod team — guys, grabe noh, somehow, naikot natin ang mundo! wow! thank you sa dedication, passion, pasensya at pagaalaga nyo sa amin ni KZ. love you guys,” he stated.

The “Palagi” hitmaker also took a moment to express his gratitude to God for the opportunities and blessings he received.

“Ultimately — Lord Jesus, hayyy, salamat po sa biyaang ito Lord. Aalagaan po namin ito. Salamat po sa pahiram,” he said.

He concluded his post:  “AGAIN, THIS HAS BEEN. ‘Sariling Mundo’, ‘Sarili Nating Mundo’ and ‘In Between’ ❤️.”

Fans online were quick to react to TJ’s post.

“Congratulations kuya, ate and to the best tour team ever!🥹❤️” one fan commented.

“Congraaats to the whole tour team!! Can’t wait for what’s next in store for you, for us. Thank you for your music!” another fan wrote.

In a November 2025 interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, TJ admitted that he had never imagined himself staging his own concerts, as he initially saw himself more as a songwriter than a performer.

“I’ve never thought na kaya ko mag-concert. Kasi dati, I’m a songwriter pero hindi ko nakikita ‘yung sarili kong performer. Ganoon akong klaseng artist. Feeling ko, I write songs, I release them, and that’s it. Enough na ‘yun. Enough na ‘yun sa akin. Hindi ko na-imagine magperform,” he explained.

TJ added: “The way I’ve envisioned myself before, hanggang 3 to 5 songs lang ako. Lagi akong guest, not a full concert. I didn’t know how to do it, hindi ko alam kung paano ko siya gagawin.”

He credited his wife, KZ Tandingan, and Cornerstone Entertainment for encouraging him to pursue concerts despite his initial reservations.

“Cornerstone pushed me to do concerts. First, it was KZ. Sabi niya, magconcert ka, deserve mo magconcert. Then Cornerstone, support sila,” he recalled.

The singer-songwriter also attributed his musical journey to his faith.

“Hindi ko naman siya pinili; ako ‘yung pinili ni Lord na gawin itong tour na ‘to, na gawin itong concert na ‘to. Cornerstone is really one of God’s blessings na ibinigay sa akin,” he said.
