‘Cirque Alice’ brings spectacular and thrilling performances to Manila this October
Local audiences can now experience the magic of Wonderland as Cirque Alice takes the stage at The Theatre at Solaire, bringing Lewis Carroll’s beloved fantasy story to life through a fusion of circus artistry and theatrical performances.
The two-hour production features a mix of aerialists, acrobats, contortionists, puppetry, comedy, and music, reimagining the curious world of Alice and its eccentric characters through breathtaking physical feats and imaginative performances.
A soundtrack featuring newly arranged classical favorites also adds to the show’s lively atmosphere.

Acclaimed producers Simon Painter and Tim Lawson are behind the production, which combines athleticism, music, and visual spectacle to offer audiences a fresh take on the familiar Wonderland adventure.
For creative producer Simon, the classic tale provides the perfect setting for a circus production that brings together spectacle and storytelling.
“The world of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland provides the perfect canvas for an extraordinary cirque production,” he said. “Filled with some of the most eccentric and larger-than-life characters ever created, the original stories have inspired a truly groundbreaking production that blends breathtaking circus artistry with theatrical storytelling. We can’t wait to share this magical experience with audiences in Manila.”
Tim, who serves as executive producer, also shared his excitement about introducing the internationally acclaimed production to Filipino audiences, highlighting its appeal to viewers of different ages and interests.
“Cirque Alice is spectacular entertainment that dazzles audiences of all ages. Whether you’re planning a memorable family outing, a magical date night, or simply looking to experience world-class live entertainment, this is a journey you won’t want to miss,” he added.

The production’s creative team includes Creative Directors Ash Jacks McCready and Kirsty Painter, choreographer Dane Bates, costume designer Angela Aaron, lighting designer Hugo Mercier, and musical arrangers Martin Raabe-Olsen and Marius Christiansen.
