Alex Eala shares her fashion style on and off the court

Filipina tennis star Alex Eala gave Vogue Hong Kong a glimpse of her personal style, discussing how she approaches fashion both on and off the court.

In a video posted by Vogue Hong Kong on Sunday, Eala said fashion is something she has only recently started exploring, allowing her to have fun and express herself in a more relaxed setting.

“It’s a different vibe. I think when I do things in fashion, I’m able to have fun in a relaxed way and it’s something that I’ve started to explore only recently. So I think when I’m there, I just try to have an open mind and absorb everything that I can,” Eala said.

As for her personal style, Eala said she prefers to keep her tennis outfits relatively simple, while allowing herself more room to experiment off the court.

“On court, I think, I like to mix it up with accessories, but relatively keep it quite simple. And off the court, I love a pop of color, I love things that are comfortable and, you know, a little elevated basics. And I’m trying to be a bit more fun,” she said.

In the reel, Eala also expressed her excitement for the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2026.

“I’m super excited to be back. Great weather, very humid, you know, and I’m super excited for my first match,” she said.

Last September, Eala made headlines when she attended her first New York Fashion Week. Just last month, Eala also attended Paris Fashion Week.
