Heidi Klum shared the inspiration behind her Halloween costume this year as she celebrated the 25th anniversary of her annual Halloween party.
This year, the supermodel transformed into a giant severed hand.
“For the 25th anniversary of my Halloween party, I knew I had to go BIG! Sometimes the most ordinary things can become the most extraordinary when you look at them a little differently,” she posted on her Instagram page.
Heidi explained that she wanted to create something completely different from her previous Halloween costumes.
“I wanted something unexpected, a little weird, a little creepy, and unlike anything I’d ever done before… and boy oh boy did Mike Marino prorenfx and his entire team deliver,” she remarked.
The supermodel also highlighted the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into creating her costume.
“I love that in a world where so much isn’t made by hand anymore – every vein, wrinkle, and little detail of this costume was. A true labor of love,” she highlighted.
She went on to express her gratitude to the creative team behind her transformation.
“To my incredible team… I’ve got to hand it to you!!! Every year I think there’s no way we can top the last, and somehow we do. Thank you for dreaming big with me 🙏,” she said.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Variety, Heidi opened up about the challenges of wearing her elaborate costume.
“The hardest part definitely is wearing it. It’s wearing it, especially everyone kind of leans on you a little bit,” she said.
However, she shared that putting on the costume did not take much time. “It didn’t take super long,” she relayed.
The supermodel also recalled the challenges she encountered while traveling to the event wearing the costume.
“It was tricky to drive up here in that van… because I can’t really sit but it’s fine, I don’t mind. That one day, out of the year, it’s a little uncomfortable and I don’t mind,” she highlighted.
