ABS-CBN stars clinch prestigious honors at 74th FAMAS Awards

ABS-CBN stars Charo Santos, Maricel Soriano, and BINI continue to shine bright as they received major recognitions for their contributions to the entertainment industry at the 74th FAMAS Awards.

Award-winning veteran actress Charo Santos received the prestigious Susan Roces Celebrity Award for her exceptional talent, dedication and contribution to Philippine entertainment, and lasting impact on Filipino cinema and television.  

Diamond Star Maricel Soriano was named Best Actress anew for her outstanding performance in Star Cinema’s family drama, “Meet, Greet & Bye.”

The nation’s girl group, BINI, was also honored with the FAMAS Youth Achievement Award, recognizing their outstanding accomplishments, cultural influence, and inspiring contribution to the evolving landscape of Philippine entertainment.

The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (also known as FAMAS Awards) are the annual honors given by prize-winning writers and movie columnists, which recognize outstanding films and personalities in the country.
