Melai Cantiveros recalls how love story with Jason Francisco began inside PBB house

Melai Cantiveros took a trip down memory lane as she reminisced about how her love story with husband Jason Francisco began inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.

On her Instagram page, the comedienne shared a video montage featuring memorable moments from their time as housemates on the reality show.

The video traced the beginnings of their relationship, from their first meeting inside the famous house to the moments when their friendship eventually blossomed into romance.

The comedienne went on: “Pagpasensyahan nyu na mga pagmumukha namin ni Papang lalo na mukha ko jan , kita nyu naman , el-nino pa ang kain ko jan , ngayun nakakapagpa Belo na @belobeauty na kaya sa dulo ng video nakaka smooth skin na 😁😜Thank you @victoria_belo🥰😍👏👋,” she quipped.

Towards the end of the montage, Melai included footage from their wedding, along with more recent clips of the couple during a trip, and a clip featuring their two daughters, Mela and Stela.

Celebrity friends and fans online were quick to react to Melai’s post.

Last October, Jason celebrated his birthday with a special gathering for his family.

In an Instagram post, Melai expressed her appreciation for her husband, sharing how he chose to spend his special day bringing happiness to their family rather than receiving gifts.

“I’m so proud of you to that, kasi yesterday sa bday mu gustu mung gift is smiles namin and tawa namin , you are loved cause u are selfLess Papang why your like that? 🥺  Char lang thank you Papang sa pagpapahappy sa amin sa bahay sa bday mu , with your parlor games , raffle and prizes 🥰😍 We love you so much❤️kaya latepost na,” the actress posted on Instagram.

Meanwhile, in December 2025, Melai and Jason celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary.

To mark the milestone, the television host penned a heartfelt message for her husband on Instagram, expressing her love and gratitude for their years together.

“Happy 12th Anniversary my Lab of all time ? Lab kung awayin Lab bwisitin , Lab iLablab and Lab kasama sa buhay 😍❤️💋Thank you Lord nakahabol dn sa Anniversary nmin 💋,” Melai said.

She added: “To my Lab Papang , ay lab you with all of my Kidney and Liver and with all of my Fallopian Tube 😍😁 #Melason.”
