Angelica Panganiban marked her 40th birthday with a memorable family getaway to Japan.

On her Instagram page, the actress shared a series of snapshots of herself with her husband, Gregg Homan, and their daughter, Amila Sabine, with the scenic Mount Fuji serving as their backdrop.

“Best way to be 40. If forty feels like this, I’m ready for it 💪,” Angelica captioned her post.

To mark the special occasion, Gregg also penned a heartfelt birthday message for his wife.

“At 40, the greatest wealth isn’t what we own, the places we’ve travelled, or the things we’ve achieved. It’s moments like these. The little hands that hold ours, the love we share, and the family we’ve built. Happy birthday to my beautiful wife. You are, and always will be, my greatest blessing,” Gregg wrote. 

Fans were also quick to shower Angelica with birthday greetings in the comments section of her post.

“The best is yet to come!” another fan wrote.

In an interview with Karen Davila last July, Angelica opened up about her journey as a mother and expressed her desire to become her daughter Amila’s “bestest friend.”

“Gusto ko siyang lumaki na ako ‘yung best friend niya, na pag may problema, ako lang lagi ‘yung tatawagan niya. I want her to feel safe with me. Of course, gusto ko siyang magkaroon ng sobrang daming kaibigan dahil ngayon mag-isa pa lang siyang anak ko. Hindi natin alam kung ano pa ang mangyayari in the future,” she said.

She added: “Kung magiging only daughter ko siya, I want her to have all the friends in the world para hindi niya maramdaman ‘yung pagiging mag-isa niya. Pero bukod doon, gusto ko na ako ‘yung bestest friend niya.”

Angelica welcomed Amila Sabine into her life on September 20, 2022.
