During their visit, they reunited with Ate Amy, Yaya Pat’s sister, who had also worked with the Gutierrez family for more than two decades.

“Nakakainis na ngayon lang kami nakadalaw sa inyo, kung kelan wala ka na. Kala ko masasama mo pa ko dito pag matandang matanda ka na eh,” she said.

The actress also opened about how difficult it has been to accept her absence, saying she hopes that the pain of losing her will eventually turn into gratitude for the time they shared.

“Ang bilis na one year na. It still breaks my heart that you’re gone. But maybe one day it will all just turn into happiness and gratitude that I got to have you.”

Janine ended her message by assuring Yaya Pat that she was still fulfilling her promise to build her a house, which remains under construction.

“You’re in my heart always. don’t worry, tinatapos pa rin yung house mo, ya. Love you. Happy one year in heaven 🤍,” she concluded.

Several netizens also left messages of support for Janine, with some sharing how the love Yaya Pat gave her family would continue to live on.

“Some people may be gone, but the love they left behind stays forever. Sending you hugs. She’s always with you in your heart. 🤍,” one commented.

“Your Yaya Pat is definitely smiling down from heaven, seeing how much she is loved and remembered. Building that house for her is such a beautiful way to honor her legacy,” another added.

Her boyfriend, actor Jericho Rosales, also wrote: “Yaya Pattttt ❤️❤️❤️”

Lotlot announced the passing of Yaya Pat on November 6, 2025, describing her as “one of the greatest blessings” she had ever received.

In a previous episode of Magandang Buhay, Janine shared that Yaya Pat was among the reasons she pursued a career in show business. The actress recalled wanting to help shoulder the expenses of her yaya’s cancer treatment, which motivated her to enter the entertainment industry.
