Tropical Storm “Domeng” will blow out of the country on Sunday but monsoon rains will continue until Monday, the weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Saturday said “Domeng” will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) that would bring monsoon rains over Luzon and Western Visayas.

“Domeng” slightly intensified as it moves in a northeastward direction, prompting the weather bureau to issue a warning on sea travel in northern and southern Luzon.

The weather bureau also urged residents in low-lying areas to watch out for flash floods and landslides.

As of 5 p.m. on Saturday, Pagasa said Cavite, Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Pampanga, Laguna and Rizal were vulnerable to flooding. CATHERINE MODESTO
