MANILA, Philippines —When one sends a text message to the wrong person, it can really be an embarrassing moment. Even Deparment of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Berna Puyat was not spared from this when she mistakenly sent a text message to Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año calling him “sweetie.”
Puyat shared in an Instagram post on Thursday the text message she mistakenly sent to Año. The meesage she said, was intended for her son.

The Tourism chief also posted a screenshot of their conversation with caption: “I receive so many text messages everyday and I try my best to reply to all of them.”
“I was texting DILG Sec Año and my son at the same time and I accidentally sent him my text to my son. #EarthSwallowMeNow,” she added.
In the screenshot, Puyat sent a message to Año saying, “Sweetie do you need the earphones for your iphone?”
Realizing her mistake, she immediately sent another text which read: “Sec!!!!! That was for my son!!! Haha! Sorry!!! Oh my gosh!” She further wrote, “OMG!!!! Sec!!!!”
The Interior secretary replied, “Ha ha ha its ok Sec Berna. Yes di natin palulusutin yan. PRRD now speaking.”
Puyat, in return, said: “I am so embarrassed,” to which Año replied with “No worry Sec Berna. We’re bestfriends naman. God bless!!!”
Actress KC Concepcion commented on the post describing the incident as “Worst feeling.”
Meanwhile, broadcaster Pia Hontiveros asked, “And did the earth open up in time?? Haha this is so cute naman” and a disappointed Puyat replied “Noooooo.” /muf
