2 magnitude 4 quakes hit Davao –Phivolcs

CONSECUTIVE earthquakes struck Davao on Wednesday, following the the back to back tremors in Zambales and in Eastern Samar.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology recorded a magnitude 4.5 quake 374 kilometers southeast of Sarangani, Davao Occidental at 11:28 a.m. It was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 270 kilometers.
No intensities, damage or aftershocks were expected.
A magnitude 4.7 quake was also recorded a few minutes later at 11:43 a.m., 63 kilometers northeast of Baganga, Davao Oriental. It was also tectonic in origin and had a depth of 11 kilometers.
Intensity 1 was felt in Bislig City, Surigao Del Sur.
No damage or aftershock was expected.
