The Manila Times columnist Jojo Robles died on Thursday at the age of 57.

Robles joined The Manila Times in March 2018. His column, Lowdown, was published four times a week, from Wednesdays to Saturdays.

His last column entitled Mythical beasts,which discussed blogger Jover Laurio, was published in January.

Prior to joining the Times, he was editor in chief of The Manila Standard. He also had a radio program, Karambola, on DWIZ.

According to his former colleague Joel Lacsamana, Robles’ remains are at the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Quezon City. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
